mamaDr. Mohammed M. Mohiuddin, MD has been providing services in Frederick, MD since 1977. He completed his urologic surgery residency at Howard University Hospital in 1976. He also served as an associate professor at Howard University Hospital from 1976-2001. He was appointed a Chief Medical Officer of Division of Urology at DC General Hospital from 1976-2001. Dr. Mohiuddin is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Mohiuddin has certifications in Extracorpeal Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL), laparoscopic urologic surgery, holmium laser for stones or BPH, Transurethral Microwave Thermotherapy (TUMT) for BPH, transobturator mid-urethral slings, Brachytherapy for prostate cancer, and cryo-ablation of the prostate. Dr. Mohiuddin is a member of American Urological Association (AUA), and mid-atlantic section of the AUA.


drHDr. Mohammed Haseebuddin, MD (Dr. Haseeb) joined Frederick Urology Associates in August 2016. He grew up in Frederick, MD. He is a 2002 graduate of Frederick High School. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, MO. He was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He also received Missouri State Medical Association Award and Louis and Dorothy Kovitz Senior Prize in Surgery. He did his general surgery internship and urology residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine with a strong focus in robotics surgery. As a resident, Dr. Haseeb has received multiple Certificate of Scholarship in 2011, 2012, and 2014. He subsequently completed his Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) accredited Urologic Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. His research at Fox Chase Cancer Center focused on Cancer Immunology.   He was awarded the 2016 Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO Merit Award. Dr. Haseeb presented at several national and international meetings including American Urological Association (AUA), Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO), Genitourinary American Society of Clinical Oncology (GU-ASCO), and European Urology Association (EAU). He was awarded the AUA Best Abstract Plenary Presentation with the opportunity to discuss his research in AUANews. He also served as a medical correspondence writer for UroToday and submitted more than 80 articles for publication. Dr. Haseeb is a member of SUO, GU-ASCO, AUA, and AMA. His interests include Urologic Oncology, Cancer Survivorship, and improvement in Urologic Quality of Life (urinary continence and Erectile dysfunction).
